This training is for new and long-time Stewards, Local Officers, and Members
who want to make the Union more effective on a day-to-day basis in the wor site.
Learn Union history and vision; greeting and orientation of new workers into the
union; effective leadership; communication and listening skills; building
structures through mapping the work site; work site issues; and actions -
preparing our message, organizing for political action.
Dinner at 5:30 p.m. on
Friday with training immediately following. Sat. 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Lunch is
provided.
