Workers at the Laurelhurst Village nursing home in southeast Portland have resumed bargaining for their first contract after emphatically affirming their decision to join SEIU Local 503.
Members of SEIU 503 sub-locals will elect new local officers starting next month. It’s part of a biennial cycle of elections that includes voting on members of the Board of Directors, delegates to General Council, and statewide officers.
